Dan vanOrmer
Dan is a graduate of BYU with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Music Dance Theatre. Recent credits include The Phantom in Maury Yeston’s Phantom (BYU), Billy Bigelow in Carousel (BYU), Dr. Craven in The Secret Garden (BYU), Captain Phoebus in The Hunchback of Notre Dame (HCT), Chuck Cranston in Footloose (HCT) and Prince Topher in Cinderella (The Ruth). Dan has also taught private voice and piano lessons for the past five years. As I’ve had the opportunities to learn and grow as a performer, what I feel the most valuable thing for me to remember is to stay teachable. As an educator, it is always more fun to share ideas when the people you’re sharing them with are open and excited to accept them. I hope that I always remember to stay flexible and coachable throughout my career and my entire life. I would love to be flexible with you!
